Garry Fahey

Garry Fahey has over thirty-five years experience in Engineering, Sales and Management in the Australian and New Zealand Information Technology and Telecommunications marketplace. His engineering career included stints with Telecom, Snowy Mountains HydroElectric Authority, Australian General Electric, Control Data Corporation and Data Point Corporation before he became Managing Director of Timeplex in Australia. In 1995 he founded UniTel, which was recently sold to Commander Communications (ASX: CDR). UniTel was built up to A$10 million in sales. Mr. Fahey is the CEO of the spun-off division StreamingMedia Pty Limited. Mr. Fahey is a founding Director of the Australian Telecommunication Users Group (ATUG), is a past member of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) Telecommunications advisory committee, and is a Fellow of the Company Directors Association of Australia and a Member of the Australian Computer Society.
